French Toast Casserole
Because I could eat anything and everything breakfast all the time, I made french toast casserole for dinner. It was too good not share. And I’m going to make it super easy for you – in three, easy steps:
1. Cut the bread. (I also cut the crusts off.) An entire loaf should serve about six people.
2. Mix the ingredients to pour over the bread in a baking dish:
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1 cup of milk
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 6 eggs
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp of cinnamon
3. After refrigerating the soaked bread in a baking dish (anywhere from one hour to overnight) bake it in the oven at 450 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
Bonus: Add nuts or fruit to jazz this up!
