Grilled corn is a popular and loved appetizer to eat on game day, at barbecues, and almost any other occasion. It’s smokey and sweet goodness really plays well with other food making it even better.
How Long do you Grill Corn?
This party favorite is still prone to getting overcooked or undercooked, resulting to hard kernels and burned flavors.
So, to make your life easier, I’ve come up with the perfect tutorial on how long you can grill corn to make it perfect.
STEP 1: Turn on your outdoor grill.
STEP 2: Prepare the corn.
Peel back the outer corn husk, but leave enough of intact so the corn is still covered.
STEP 3: Place the corn on the grill, cover, and cook.
After five minutes, uncover the corn, then turn it to the other side where it wasn’t cooked yet and cook it for another five minutes.
Repeat this process by continuously turning until the husks are black on all sides and the exposed kernels are charred. Make sure you check the corn every once in a while to avoid overcooking it.
STEP 4: Remove the corn from the grill.
Let the hot corn cool for a few minutes or more depending on how hot you want your corn to be served.
Then, you can easily pull back the remaining husks.
STEP 5: Enjoy!
Serve this with melted butter on top or season it with salt and pepper and you’re good to go! You can also serve it by itself and it would still taste amazing.
