I am so excited to be hosting the kick-off of Mommy’s Morning Movies. I even get to pick the movie and I pick… Angry Birds!

This is a special program for moms with little ones in South Florida. Every Thursday morning at Silverspot Cinema in Coconut Creek, you can enjoy a family friendly movie for just $7 a ticket! So, join me and my daughter at Silverspot Cinema Thursday, May 26th and watch the Angry Birds movie. The movie starts at 11:30am at the Promenade in Coconut Creek.

I’ve been questioning when to take my four-year-old to the movie theater because I’m afraid she may not sit quietly through the entire thing or may disturb other people. Now, I don’t have to worry about that. I’ll be with other moms who get it and will be in the same boat as me. It’s like when you’re flying with your kids and you feel a sense of relief when you see other kids on the same flight. The pressure comes off a little bit. So, if you’re questioning when the right time is to take your kids to the movie, this is the perfect time.

Plus, I love going to the movies. The atmosphere with the popcorn, candy, and drinks is fun for me – and I’ve been doing it for years, so of course, my little Julianna will love it. The venue couldn’t be better. After the movie, it’ll be lunch time and there is so much to choose from at the Promenade. A little lunch and shopping is the perfect way to end our mother/daughter date… and we love our little dates together. So, what do you say? Time to go to the movies?
