When October hits in South Florida it means three things:
- Cooler weather is coming
- Hurricane season is winding down
- Spa and Wellness Month is here!
Can you tell I’m excited about Spa and Wellness Month in the Palm Beaches?! Click here to read more about it.
In a nutshell, Spa and Wellness Month is when many of the spas in Palm Beach County offer discounts on their treatments while giving back to charities that support breast cancer awareness.
Spa and Wellness Month at PGA National Resort and Spa
I was lucky enough to try out a few amazing treatments at PGA National Resort and Spa in Palm Beach Gardens.
The Spa at PGA National is offering its Tickled Pink Menu this October.
In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, PGA National Resort and Spa is donating $3 from every Tickled Pink Treatment booked to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
So, what’s on the menu?
Pink Cotton Flower Facial
$99
This is one of the two services I enjoyed. Being 37 weeks pregnant, my skin has been doing some crazy stuff. I’m usually oily, but lately, I’ve been dry so this facial was just what I needed.
Pink Moonshine Swedish Massage
$99
Did I mention I’m 37 weeks pregnant? That means my body is in pain… especially my lower back. Let me tell you, I could’ve laid on that massage table all day.
Pink Moonshine Manicure and Pedicure
$79
In South Florida, you always need a fresh mani and pedi, so this treatment (which is really two) is a great deal.
Pink Moonshine Salt Body Scrub
$99
I can’t wait to try this one. If you’re debating between this one and a massage, consider this one because during and after the scrub, you also get a little massage too!
Something I love about the spa at PGA National is the Waters of the World Spa Pools.
This entire area is exclusively for people visiting the spa. No one else.
In addition, you can enjoy lunch and drinks outside.
I spent my entire day there… as did many other ladies who turned the day into a fun event – daycation or spacation, if you will.
Before you leave, you have to stop by the gift shop to take a little something with you.
I am slightly obsessed with these Dune Jewelry bracelets.
I got one that is made from flower petals on the grounds of PGA National Resort and Spa as well as some sand from The Bear Trap there.
