Because my husband likes anything pumpkin, the kids and I made him some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies when he was golfing one day. Leave out the chocolate chips, and you have some great pumpkin sugar cookies.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

First, pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees.

Now, mix all of these ingredients in this order:

  • 1 can of pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup of white sugar
  • 1/2 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp. of vanilla
  • 2 cups of flour
  • 2 tsp. of baking powder
  • 1 tsp. of cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. of pumpkin spice
  • 1 tsp. of baking soda
  • 1 tsp. of milk
  • 2 cups of chocolate chips

Drop the cookie batter by the spoonful on a baking tray an inch or two inches apart.

Bake for eleven minutes at 350 degrees.

Let them cool for five minutes.
