Yes, brunch is nice… but there is so much more to Mother’s Day than the typical Mother’s Day brunch.
Because I live in South Florida, many of these items are specific to the area, but you can make these your own wherever you live.
I’m going to start with FIVE of my favorites.
Why are these my favorites? Because I love a good spa and alone time… and chances are, so does you or your mom.
Then of course, chocolate.
5 Top Mother’s Day Gift Ideas in South Florida
1. Massage
These is nothing I love more than a massage.
It’s actually my lottery plan… to get a massage once a week.
I recently had an amazing massage at Bella Reina Spa in Delray Beach and it was fantastic!
I don’t know any mom who would turn down some comfy, alone time for her special day.
Depending on you (or your mom’s) interest, there are a variety of massages to choose from.

2. Facial
Right now, my hormones are raging, so my face is broken out like crazy! (I guess pregnancy does that to you.)
I’m normally on acne medication, but again, pregnancy has put that on hold, so I’m in need of some TLC on my face.
Right before my massage at Bella Reina, I also got a facial.
Just like the massages, you can pick the best one for you, your skin type, and your skin goals.

It’s a $260 value for just $199.
To book a session for yourself (like I did because I deserve it) or to gift it to your mom, call Bella Reina Spa at 561-404-7670 or visit at 815 George Bush Boulevard in Delray Beach.
3. Manicure
While I was at Bella Reina, I could not leave without getting a manicure.
My nails were screaming for one… and they use Dazzle Dry polish.
If you have not heard of Dazzle Dry, you’re missing out because it’s nail polish that lasts as long as gel polish.
It’s so amazing, I buy it for myself to keep at home.
4. Pedicure
If you’re going to get a manicure, you have to get a pedicure, right? They kinda go together, like popcorn and butter.
Because I live in South Florida, this is a year-round necessity, but since it’s getting warmer everywhere else in the country, it’s the PERFECT time for some nice toenails.
You also can’t beat the foot and leg massage.
5. Hoffman’s Chocolates
Now, let’s go to something the entire family can enjoy. Chocolate.
I could eat chocolate every day (and thanks to the confiscating of Halloween and Easter candy I do every year, I just about do!)
There is nothing better in South Florida than Hoffman’s Chocolates, especially their chocolate covered Oreos.
For their Mother’s Day specials, click here.
The selection of sweet Mother’s Day gifts include items like
- 10oz Hoffman’s Chocolates High Heel Shoe
- a beautiful bouquet of foiled milk chocolate Roses or Tulips, coffee/cappuccino truffles
- locally grown strawberries hand-dipped in white, dark or milk chocolate
Hoffman’s Chocolates is also offering special Mother’s Day-themed chocolatier classes at its Greenacres location (5190 Lake Worth Road) on Saturday, May 11th.
During the themed classes, kids will create custom chocolate gifts for mom from flower arrangements, Caramel Apples, to chocolate letters that spell out M-O-M.
All classes include a guided window tour, a video presentation of The History of Chocolate, and a sampling of Hoffman’s Chocolates gourmet ice cream.
Hoffman’s also offers so much more that I’m dying to take advantage of, like chocolate making classes and factory tours year round.
